I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. We didn't go to Fall Fest because of the rain. But, thankfully, NAS Museum had their indoor candy-filled Trick-or-Treat. It was great! We even got to meet a real flying ace who shot down Japanese enemy planes in WWII. Then the evening was spent warm in front of a bonfire toasting hotdogs and making smores with friends.
This week marks our first staycation! So, this menu may go out the window as our whims might take us to different food adventures. Our original plan was to enjoy the Virginia fall weather with relatives, so, I'm hoping to make up for it by making autumn desserts.
Menu planning saves me time and energy. But I didn't really get going with it until I started linking with orgjunkie's weekly Menu Monday post. If you want inspiration or share your own menu visit here.
